UV Absorber:

When polymers are exposed to various environmental factors like UV light, heat, oxygen, light degradation would happen, causing problems, such as yellowing, cracking, reducing the performance and function. In order to enhance the durability and to extend the service life, it is necessary to add UV absorber and light stabilizer to prevent degradation caused by UV light, improving weather resistance and reliability in various applications.

Our products consist of 3 major types of UV absorber: Benzophenone, Benzotriazole and Triazine to choose or blend to create your own effective solutions for light stability. Benzophenone UV Absorber has powder form, Benzotriazole UV Absorber has both liquid and powder form, Triazine UV Absorber has liquid, powder and flake form.

Light Stabilizer:

These factors eventually cause issues, such as yellowing, cracking, loss of physical and mechanical properties. In order to enhance the durability and to extend the service life, it is necessary to add UV absorber and Hindered Amine light stabilizer (HALS) to prevent degradation caused by UV light, improving weather resistance in various applications.

Light stabilizer (HALS) is to continuously remove the free radicals that are produced by photo-oxidation so the polymers can prolong the service life for long-term use. Plus, the combination of HALS and UV absorber offer synergistic effects to prevent against surface and functional defects.
